Position Overview:
The Georgia Public Defender Council (GPDC) is seeking an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney to serve as an Independent Contractor within the Western, Northern, and Piedmont Judicial Circuits, focusing primarily on felony-level criminal defense. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong litigation background and commitment to client-centered representation who desires flexibility and autonomy while making a tangible impact in the criminal justice system. Must be capable of handling a Superior Court caseload in either the Western, Northern, or Piedmont Judicial Circuit.
Compensation is set at $100,000 annually.
