The Griffin Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office is seeking to hire an Assistant Public Defender 1. This office serves Spalding County. The primary responsibilities include assisting and/or handling indigent clients’ representation with criminal cases in the superior courts and/or juveniles with delinquency cases in the juvenile courts. Prior experience in handling criminal and juvenile cases, exceptional organization skills, and a strong commitment to indigent defense is preferred.

Description of Duties: The Assistant Public Defender 1 will provide competent and zealous representation and advocacy to indigent clients. Performs other related duties as required.
