The Dougherty Circuit Public Defender Office is seeking to hire an Assistant Public Defender I or II. Dougherty is conveniently a one-county circuit. Primary responsibilities include representing indigent clients in all phases of criminal proceedings. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the job duties and responsibilities for the position, including but not limited to, preparation and presentation of cases for trial and entering of pleas. The chosen applicant will be a current member in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
