Waycross Judicial Circuit – Assistant Public Defender IV


The Waycross Judicial Circuit Public Defender Office is seeking to hire an Assistant Public Defender IV. The primary duties include representing indigent clients with criminal case(s) in our Superior and Juvenile Courts. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the position’s essential duties and responsibilities. Applicants must be a current member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia. A strong commitment to indigent defense is also required. Description of Duties: The Assistant Public Defender IV will provide competent and zealous representation and advocacy to indigent clients in the Complex Trail division of Superior Court. This position performs as an expert attorney, assigned to serious, high-profile, and significant felony cases. Performs other related duties as assigned.
