The Specialized Unit Office is seeking to hire two Assistant Public Defenders II. These are State-funded positions. Primary duties include representing indigent clients with juvenile cases, deprivation actions, and other Juvenile Court matters. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the job duties and responsibilities for the position. Applicants must be a current member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia. A strong commitment to indigent defense is also required. Three (3) or more years of experience practicing in Juvenile /Youth Court as well as SB440 in Superior Court is preferred.
