The Piedmont Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office is seeking to fill an Assistant Public Defender I, II, or III. This office serves Jackson County. Primary duties include representing indigent clients in all phases of criminal proceedings, including arraignment, pretrial hearings, trial preparation, plea negotiations, trial, and sentencing. This position involves extensive courtroom and trial experience. The chosen applicant will be a member in good standing with the State of Georgia Bar and have a strong commitment to indigent criminal defense.
