The Griffin Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office is accepting applications for an Assistant Public Defender II. The Circuit will also hire at the Assistant Public Defender I level. The primary responsibilities of the position include assisting and/or handling the representation of indigent clients with criminal cases in the superior courts and/or juveniles with delinquency cases in the juvenile courts. The applicant must be admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and possess the qualifications, training, skills and experience necessary to perform the job duties and responsibilities of an APD II. Prior experience in handling criminal and juvenile cases, superior organization skills, and a strong commitment to indigent defense are preferred.
