The Alternate Public Defender West Georgia Office is seeking to fill an Assistant Public Defender I position. This position is serving the Coweta, Paulding, and Tallapoosa Circuits in the Carroll, Coweta, Haralson, Paulding, Polk, and Troup counties. Primary duties include representing indigent clients with criminal cases in Superior Court, Magistrate Court, and sometimes Juvenile Court. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the job duties and responsibilities for the position. Applicants must be a current member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia. A strong commitment to indigent defense is also required.
